Dick Cheney Sent Back to Prison

In a not so far reaching decision, Federal Appeals Court Judge Oscar Lestche, has rejected former Vice President Dick Cheney’s request to remain free on appeal bond and ordered him to return to Wachovia Federal Prison in Patuhca, West Virginia. Cheney, who had been convicted in 2010 of war crimes, murder, theft, conspiracy and election fraud, had been released briefly while legal scholars examined his claims of extrajudicial meandering contradiction in briefs that were submitted on his behalf by cellmate Alberto Gonzales. The American Civil Liberties Union had originally taken on the case of the now indigent defendant, but withdrew ten days later citing the insufferable “stench of evil” emanating from their client. “Charles Manson, the Night Stalker and Rush Limbaugh together would be a breath of fresh air next to this guy,” said Anthony Romero of the ACLU. A last minute appeal by Cheney’s court appointed attorney, claiming that “The Dick” as he is known in prison, would be “used like a 10 cent whore” by his fellow inmates, was turned down by Judge Lestche. “I just don’t see the attraction,” he said.
