In an unexpected move, as the 2020 election season draws nearer, President Trump has instructed his legal team to explore the banning of certain words and phrases from now until after his expected inauguration in 2021.
Spokesperson Sarah Sanders took to the news podium on Wednesday to float the list.
“These are just some words and phrases, in no particular order, that the president felt were belittling, or inflammatory and shouldn’t be used in any speeches, Twitter posts, news reports, either printed or broadcast, because he wouldn’t want to hurt the feelings his opponents in the election.”
