Following the Rose Parade in Pasadena, the floats are traditionally left on display for 24 hours at the end of the parade route for tourists to photograph and gawk at.
After that, those responsible for the floats are expected to truck them out. That was done this year for all but one. The Donald Trump entry, entitled “Small Hands, Hard Heart” is still waiting to be claimed. The Trump transition team says that the 17 foot tall statue will be picked up in due course, and flown to Washington, DC in time to be displayed at the inauguration on January 20.
