A new Gallup poll has revealed that about 18 million American adults now identify as BLTWC.
Gallup senior editor Jeff Jones said that younger people are growing up in an environment where having access to dairy is not as taboo as was once thought. (BLTWC means Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato With Cheese).
Researchers found that among this group, at least 70 percent preferred franks and beans to humus, while 29 percent baked their own bread and did clog dancing at least once a week.
“People are just more accepting these days, said Jones, “because there was a time when BLTWC’s (and clog dancers) were ostracized, and not only at Subway.”
