During his campaign stop in North Carolina, where he groused about having to share the spotlight “with some 75 year old battleship,” President Trump urged citizens to vote twice during the upcoming election:
Trump said: “Let them send it in and let them go vote. And if the system is as good as they say it is then obviously they won’t be able to vote” in person.
He added that it was simply a common sense test of the system. “Like driving your car into a tree at 90 mph to test the airbags. If they fail, then you’ve saved yourself a headache later on.”
