Actor Michael Douglas reveals that his 103 year old dad, Kirk, died upon hearing the news of Trump’s acquittal in the Senate.
“He was at the breakfast table when the results of the impeachment trial were announced on CNN. He gasped, muttered ‘God bless Mitt Romney,’ and pitched forward into his bowl of Grape Nuts.”
A White House aide confirmed that the Douglas family was offered a Medal of Freedom for Kirk, but it was declined.
“We could always pick one up on Amazon, now that they’re worthless, but why bother?”
